Thermal Product Solutions Receives The Intel Supplier Award
WHITE DEER, PA – May 7, 2007 – The 2006 Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award was presented to SPX’s Thermal Product Solutions (TPS) business by Intel Corporation for outstanding commitment to quality and performance excellence.
“We are excited and honored to be recognized for our commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction,” said John Way, president of TPS.
This is the second year in a row that TPS was rewarded for their excellence.
According to Intel’s announcement - “We are proud to be associated with the recipients of the Preferred Quality Supplier award,” said Gidu Shroff, Intel vice president and director of materials. “They have contributed to Intel’s success.”

TPS brands – Blue M, Gruenberg, Kayex, Lindberg, Lindberg MPH and Tenney/Lunaire – stand out in the semiconductor industry for pre-bake and cure ovens that simulate or condition specific environments. The tools that control tolerances, monitor the process, and gather confirming data are targets of continuous improvement and demand state-of-the-art expertise.
The PQS awards are part of Intel’s Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement process that encourages suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
